Save the date for the 2015 City of Oxnard Recreation and Community Services 8th Annual Oxnard Tamale Festival at Plaza Park in Downtown Oxnard on Saturday December 5, 2015 from 9AM to 6:30PM with the Oxnard Christmas Parade starting at 10am.

Event participants will be able to choose from various tamale vendors offering the best mouth-watering tamales on the central coast. Activities include corn husk art for kids, cooking demonstrations, arts & craft booths, eating contests, amusement rides including the Oxnard City Corps Train, piñatas and photo opportunities with Santa Claus.
Plus watch the Oxnard Christmas Parade from 10AM to noon as the parade goes right past Plaza Park. The Annual Oxnard Christmas Parade features colorful marching bands, equestrian units, local school groups, spirited floats and a visit from Santa! The Parade route is A, 5th and C Streets in Downtown Oxnard.
The Oxnard Tamale Festival will feature:
- Christmas Parade from 10:00AM-12:30PM
- Parade Awards Ceremony 12:35PM-12:50PM
- Live Music and Performances - All Day
Proceeds from the Festival will go to support Oxnard City Corps and other recreation programs.
*Macaroni Kid Camarillo-Oxnard-Ventura will be participating in this event with a Macaroni Ornament and Jewelry making booth free to all kids attending.
