PROM DRESS PROJECT NOW ACCEPTING DRESSES THRU FEB 24

Clean Out Your Closet and Help Local Teens

February 7, 2016
Prom Dress Project is officially collecting prom dresses for teens this Prom season.

Here's your chance to donate your prom, cocktail or bridesmaid dress to a Ventura County girl who can't afford to buy one. Become a dress fairy today by donating your new or used dresses to local Ventura County teens thru February 24.

You can drop-off your donations at Salzers Records in Ventura at 5777 Valentine Road thru February 24, 2016.

The idea of the Prom Dress Project evolved from Ariel’s Closet, a prom dress collection effort started by two local Pacifica High School staff members. In 2009, radio disc jockey Nancy Rodriguez learned about Ariel’s Closet and helped spread the news via the airwaves— to great success. She was determined to make it a community collaboration, because she knew first hand that there were more girls in need of a prom dress, especially because many families were hurting due to the economic downturn.

If you, or someone you know, is in need of a dress, please email PromDressProjectVC@gmail.com
