From the moment we walked in, we loved all the festive and beautiful decorations. We enjoyed the Ice Skating rink. Skate assists shaped like Penguins and Panda Bears are available for kids who don’t skate well. That was perfect for my daughter who was a beginning skater. She used it part of the time and skated a little on her own.
We thoroughly enjoyed the new theme this year, “Alice in Winterland,” which was an interactive maze based on Alice in Wonderland. We loved the Mad Hatter hats they give with the insert cards which trigger the interactive exhibits. As you walk through the maze you step on paw prints and bow your head to trigger effects.
There were also people dressed as characters throughout the maze. We loved interacting with Alice in the room with many doors.
While it was very cool and enjoyable, I did miss the ice sculptures form previous years and the ice Queen Mary with the slide. Yes, you read that right, there is NO ice sculptures.

On the other side of the big igloo we also loved the tube sledding down a large ice slide. Additionally, we enjoyed the Ice Skating rink. Skate assists shaped like Penguins and Panda Bears are available to rent for $5 for kids who don’t know how to skate. That was perfect for us.
There is a craft room where you can decorate stockings with very friendly elves willing to help.
