The 2nd Annual Marla Runyan Camarillo Half Marathon, 5K and FREE 1K Kids Fun Run

The Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo, California brings avid runners to the 2nd Annual Marla Runyan Half Marathon & 5K and FREE Kids 1K at the Camarillo Premium Outlets located at 640 East Ventura Boulevard in Camarillo on Sunday, October 2th starting at 7:00am.

The 2nd Annual Marla Runyan Camarillo Half Marathon begins at 7:00 AM, the 5K run at 7:30 AM and the free fun 1K run for kids starts at 9:30am/10:00 AM at the Camarillo Premium Outlets on October 20th with an event party and expo from 8am to noon. In addition they will have live music by Ignition at the after race party, and also have live music on Saturday during the packet pickup.

Fees
  • Half Marathon ($60.00 Race Fee + $3.60 Sign Up Fee)
  • 5K ($30.00 Race Fee + $2.50 Sign Up Fee) 
  • Kids Run ($0.00 Race Fee)
Runyan is an Olympic 1500 meter runner from the great city of Camarillo. Through hard work and perseverance, Runyan has gained the title of being the first legally blind athlete to compete in an Olympic event during the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Her passion, dedication and determination inspire the Boys & Girls Club to instill this type of character in its members. 

The Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo is a non-profit organization aimed to help youth, especially for those in need, to realize their full potential and to reach their goals and strive to be caring, productive and responsible citizens. Runyan is an exemplary role model for achieving greatness in any situation.
