Every year Field Trips 4 Kids hosts some really great show in Thousand Oaks just for kids. If you haven't attended, make sure and take your kids this year. They are pretty economical and have some great options, shows and performers.

About the Shows
All shows are presented at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. All shows have a morning performance at 10:00 am. Selected shows have an encore performance at 12:00 noon. Ballets are a 75-minute performance, and plays are 60-minute performances.

Shows cost per seat $14.00 or $15.00 (depending on the performance). If you would like to pay by credit card, a processing and handling fee of $5.00 will be added to your order.

The Berenstain Bears - LIVE!

Adapted from the classic children's book series by Stan and Jan Berenstain, The Berenstain Bears LIVE! brings everyone's favorite bear family to life in a thrilling theatrical experience that kids as well as their parents will treasure for many years to come. As always, Bear Country is not without its complications: Brother Bear's grades are slipping, Sister Bear still has a few things to learn about making new friends, and Papa Bear just can't stop eating junk food. Thankfully, we can always depend on Mama Bear and her loving patience to help set things right. 



The Berenstain Bears LIVE! will give boys and girls of all ages the chance to fall in love with these characters, just as their parents did when they were growing up.

The Nutcracker Presented By The Conejo Civic Ballet
Thursday, December 11, 2014 @ 10:00am and 12:00pm noon 
Tchaikovsky's masterpiece ballet choreographed and danced by the Conejo Valley's oldest established dance company. A holiday tradition of entertainment and inspiration to be enjoyed by audience members of all ages. Join Clara and her Nutcracker Prince on their magical journey through the Kingdom of Sweets. A Nutcracker not to be missed.

The New Shanghai Circus

For more than twenty-seven centuries, Chinese acrobats have been thrilling audiences making it the "longest running" folk art form in history. The New Shanghai Circus represents the best of this honored tradition, mixing award winning acrobatics, traditional dance, spectacular costumes and ancient and contemporary theatrical techniques to present a show of breathtaking skill and spellbinding beauty.

Rumplestiltskin

Daisy can spin gold from straw. A greedy King locks her in a stable and demands that she turns all of the straw into gold Daisy looks doomed until a strange little man, Rumplestiltskin, appears and promises to spin the straw into gold in return for her necklace. The King is delighted but locks her up again - wanting twice as much straw to spin! 

Will the magical Rumplestiltskin return to help Daisy? Find out as The Panto Company USA spins this classic tale into a golden show for children of all ages, filled songs, grand sets and costumes, and lots of audience participation NOT TO BE MISSED.
