On September 27th you and your family can help out local groups by participating in United Way Ventura County's annual Day of Caring from 9am to noon. Volunteer opportunities have been planned around the county in Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura for residents to participate in and to help the local community. There are many opportunities for kids, teens and families.
REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER & FIND A PROJECT
The 25th Annual Day of Caring will bring together groups as well as individual volunteers to help nonprofit local organizations in the community with a variety of tasks. It's a fun, free and easy way for individuals, families and teams to work together and create change in the community.

Sorting Food & Serving Meals, Beautifying Landscapes at Historical Landmarks, Painting and Freshening up Living Spaces, Tending a Community Food Garden, and much more!
VOLUNTEERS will receive: A Live United T-Shirt and Water.
