MACARONI MENU: PEANUT BUTTER N' BANANA ICY TREAT

A Fun Twist on the "Ice Cream" Sandwich!

Who doesn't love an ice cream sandwich? This yummy alternative is a great treat for kids and adults and it's dairy-free!

Ingredients:
  • 2-2 1/2 soft bananas
  • 2 tbsp. of peanut butter or almond butter (tried both ways and kids loved them)
  • 16 graham crackers broken in half (try cinnamon or chocolate)
  • Handful of mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
STEP ONE: Peel and mash bananas in medium bowl

STEP TWO: Add peanut or almond butter

STEP THREE: Mix with spatula until blended

STEP FOUR: Add chocolate chips (optional) and stir

STEP FIVE: Spoon a dollop of the mix onto half of a graham cracker and place other half on top

STEP SIX: Repeat until ingredients are gone

STEP SEVEN: Place in freezer for at least 2 hours

Tip: Middle will not be mushy when they are ready. The mashed banana takes on an ice cream consistency when frozen, resulting in a twist on an ordinary ice cream sandwich that everyone will enjoy!
