Each year on August 25, the National Park Service celebrates its birthday also called Founders Day and EVERYONE is invited to join the party by signing their Birthday Card and getting free admission on August 25th.

On Monday, August 25, all 401 national parks are celebrating with FREE admission. Other free days in 2014 are September 27, National Public Lands Day and  November 11, Veterans Day.

Americans can be proud that the United States was the first country in the world to set aside its most treasured places as national parks so that they could be enjoyed by all.

Let the National Park Service know you’re thinking of them by signing the birthday card, and show your support by giving a gift to the National Park Foundation in honor of the National Park Service’s birthday.
