Hollywood’s legendary El Capitan Theatre are hosting a special engagement of Disney’s “Frozen” Sing-A-Long version now through Sept. 7, 2014. Last weekend, I attended the show with my two daughters, age 7 and 9, who had a blast.

We have seen “Frozen” several times, as I suspect have most of you have as well.  If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t miss this opportunity as it is an amazing film.  This was a spectacular event which my kids really enjoyed.

The show starts off with a live performance by Elsa who dances for the audience and their fans. It was very fun and my daughters cheered along with the entire theatre. Elsa also makes the theatre snow as the movie gets started.

As you watch the movie, the lyrics appear on the bottom of the screen so everybody can sing along.  As might be expected, “Let It Go” was the loudest as it is the song everybody knows the best.  Also during “Let It Go,” it once again began to snow in the theater.  Later during “In Summer” about half a dozen beach balls were tossed out in the audience (much like happens at Dodger games) for people to bat around.

Even if you have seen “Frozen” before I would highly recommend going to the “Frozen Sing Along” event at the El Capitan Theater.

There are some special events you can attend like  “Pajama Night” screenings and even some screenings entirely in Spanish
On select dates, El Capitan guests may also enjoy breakfast with Elsa before the 10 a.m. movie. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Every Tuesday at 10AM is also Tiny Tot Tuesday where the show will be in 2D especially for younger kids or special needs kids.

Daily shows are at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now, and available at the El Capitan Theatre (6838 Hollywood Blvd.), online at www.elcapitantickets.com.
