Ventura Education Partnership presents the 14th annual Festival of Talent on Saturday night, February 28th at Ventura High School Auditorium at 2 North Catalina Street, Ventura. This year's theme is California Dreamin'.
This district-wide event showcases the best and brightest talent in the district and is a major fundraiser for Ventura Education Partnership. Businesses, community groups and others serve as sponsors for this exciting event.
The show begins at 7 pm in the Ventura High School Auditorium. The event is a major fundraiser for Ventura Education Partnership, the foundation that supports VUSD schools by providing grant funding to teachers for enriching projects in their classrooms.
The Kiwanis Club of Ventura is the title sponsor and the event is chaired by Kiwanis President Bart Bleuel. The show is professionally directed by Brian McDonald of the Rubicon Theatre, with musical direction by Miriam Arichea.
BUY TICKETS HERE:Reserved seating, is $20 per ticket. General admission seats are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
A pre-show pasta dinner will be served from 5:00 – 6:30 PM in the VHS cafeteria. Dinner tickets are $8.00 each and may be purchased from high school student stores or at the cafeteria on the night of the show. All proceeds from the dinner benefit the Ventura Unified Leadership Council made up of student government classes from VUSD’s high schools.
Plus don’t miss VUSD student visual and performing art in the tent in front of the VHS Auditorium from 5-7 PM, including performances by the Buena High Jazz Combo, Buena High String Quartet, Balboa Middle School Ensembles, Ventura High School Jazz Combo, Cabrillo Middle School String Combo, Anacapa Middle School String Combo, and the Randy California Project.
