Ventura County Music Academy provides private music instruction for children and adults in Somis, serving students from Camarillo, Ventura, Oxnard and communities throughout Ventura County. Students can take weekly lessons in violin, piano, keyboard, guitar, electric bass and voice, with online instruction also available. Its teachers incorporate music reading, ear training, theory, technique and performance skills into lessons tailored to each instrument. Students also have opportunities to build confidence and share their progress through monthly informal performances, formal recitals twice a year and monthly group makeup classes.
