Children’s Music Academy of Ventura offers comprehensive, beginner-friendly music education in a lively and supportive small-group setting. Its parent-participation classes introduce children to piano and keyboard, singing, music theory, rhythm, note reading, ear training, composition and ensemble playing. Students also gain hands-on experience with instruments such as recorder, guitar, glockenspiel and percussion. Classes incorporate games, stories, movement and performances to help children build musical skills, confidence and a lasting love of music. Age-based courses begin at age 3, with advanced instruction available to program graduates.
