Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District provides year-round recreational, educational and athletic opportunities for children, teens, adults and seniors throughout the Camarillo area. Families can choose from youth sports, swim lessons, dance, art, music, theater, outdoor education and other enrichment classes, along with seasonal camps and community events. The district also operates the Pleasant Valley Aquatic Center and maintains more than two dozen parks with playgrounds, sports fields, courts, picnic areas and walking trails. Programs and activities change seasonally, with new activity guides published three times each year.
