Stepping Stones Riding Program is a nonprofit organization making horseback riding and meaningful horse experiences accessible to the Ventura County community. Riders ages 6 and older can participate in affordable, hands-on horsemanship lessons featuring Western riding, English riding or bareback horsemanship. Approximately 90 minutes long, lessons include grooming, preparing and caring for the horses in addition to riding instruction. Stepping Stones also offers seasonal camps, clinics, trail rides, birthday celebrations, family events and volunteer opportunities in a friendly, supportive environment. Its programs help riders develop confidence, responsibility and riding skills while building meaningful connections with horses.
