By Sharon Rosenthal July 12, 2010

Every week the museum has art workshops on Wednesday and Friday afternoons at 3pm, this weeks projects are  a 3D Star Paper Craft on Wednesday and on the Friday a Paper Popper Craft! The crafts are FREE as long as you pay the admission fee.

For the toddler in your life every Tuesday at 11:30am they read a story and do a craft.  Plus on Thursdays from 1-2pm they have a music program. All these special programs and workshops are FREE with a paid admission into the musuem. In addition the museum just opened up a NEW Fossil exhibit that kids will love.

If you have never been before you and your kids will love all the great exhibits and special programs. The museum has been designed for children from 0 to 12 to learn and to stimulate their brains and to engage them.

The Gull Wings Children's Musuem is located in downtown Oxnard on the corner of 4th and C Streets, at 418 4th Street. A regular admission is 6$ for adults and 5$ for Children and Seniors and kids under 2 are free. If you plan to go often a 60$ family membership is a great deal and then you can go FREE all year round.

They are open all summer long on Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday Noon to 4pm.

Plus the Gull Wings Children Musuem is partnering with Macaroni Kid camarillo as a community partner. Every month one of our subscribers will win a FREE child's guest pass to the ONLY Children's Museum in Ventura County. To participate in the drawing you have to be a subscriber. So if you haven't subscribed yet you can't win unless you sign up. I will draw the name of the winner on July 31st and announce the winner in the August 3rd newsletter.
