The city of Port Hueneme plans to continue a more than 30-year tradition this week when its Santa Float takes to the streets of Hueneme to hand out candy and gather children's wishes for the holiday season.
Called the Santa Float, city employees operate the tours for four nights this week.
The float will travel through Port Hueneme during the evenings from Monday to Thursday this week. The float, complete with music and decorations, makes sixteen 15-minute stops each night, with the first stop normally around 5:15 p.m. and the last one around 8 p.m.
