JIM HENSON HOSTS FIRST DINOSAUR TRAIN EVENT IN LA

At The Natural History Museum in Exposition Park With “Big Big Dinosaur” Day

On Saturday, August 11, The Jim Henson Company will bring Buddy, the playful T. rex of Dinosaur Train TV fame, into the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles to stomp around and hobnob with his big Jurassic and Cretaceous kin to celebrate “Big Big Dinosaur Week,” a week of all new Dinosaur Train episodes on PBS Kids.
 
Guests at this event will have the opportunity to meet Buddy the T. rex, catch a sneak peak of an all-new episode of “Big Big Dinosaur Week” and rock out with Craig Bartlett (the creator of "Dinosaur Train") and his band as they perform Dinosaur Train favorites. 

Activities are FREE with valid Museum membership or general admission ticket on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can buy your tickets HERE.

  • Up to 8,000 guests enjoying dinosaur-related activities
  • Craig Bartlett and Band performing for kids as they jam out and sing along to their favorite Dinosaur Train songs
  • Buddy meet-and-greet photo ops with preschoolers posing in front of step-and-repeat 
  • Natural History Museum Dinosaur Hall backdrop with its own “Big Big Dinosaur” exhibits
  • The brand new Expo Line that just started running across the street (guests are offered discounted admission to event with Metro ticket)
SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY AUGUST 11TH
  • VIP and Members Only: 8 - 9:30 am
  • General Admission: 9:30 am - 3pm

The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles is located at 900 Exposition Blvd.

Admission to the museum is $12 for Adults, Senior Admission (Guests 62+) and college students are $9,youth Admission (Ages 13-17) are $8 and Child Admission (Ages 5-12) are $5.00, Children 4 and Under are admitted FREE of charge.
