Last weekend we got to enjoy an enchanted Oz-inspired afternoon tea with the kids age 2,8 and 6 at The London West Hollywood Hotel in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles. My husband and I who are BIG Disney fans absolutely loved it and the kids had a great time as well.

The hotel is just stunning and the kids really enjoyed exploring the hotel and its grounds. The tea took place at the Gordon Ramsey Restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel. The menu is beautiful and features some yummy choices for guests designed around the theme of the movie. See all the yummy foods below, the only real choice that you need to decide on is the type of tea you want served and each guest can pick their own. The rest of the menu is included with every tea.
As we were led to our table, we noticed some fun things on the table waiting for the kids. One was a magic wand which the kids shared and absolutely loved. Chocolate gold coins in satchels and a small bottle of Glinda’s Bubbles for each person is provided. We had a great time blowing Glinda’s Bubbles and eating chocolate before feasting on the tea.
Also the kids received a special Oz themed placemat with a maze on one side and games on the other. They really enjoyed playing the games.
I really enjoyed the Jasmine Flower tea that I ordered and my husband enjoyed his Peppermint Tea. The kids all got the Witches Brew which is a combo of various fruit juices.
Then we were served the Emerald City miniature sandwiches & canapés which included the delicious Flying Monkey Bite black currant and peanut butter scones. For dessert we enjoyed The Dark Forest Chocolate Cake, Ruby Red Apple Crumble and Yellow Brick Road Lemon Meringue Bars.
