STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL POSTER CONTEST

Entries are currently being accepted for the 2014 California Strawberry Festival Official Poster Contest until January 6, 2014.

The winning poster will win $2,000 and four VIP event passes to the festival for the weekend of May 17 and 18, 2014. The winning poster for the 31st annual celebration poster will be available for purchase during the event weekend and the design will also adorn collectible T-shirts and promotional items.

All aspiring Rembrandts can enter because there are no age requirements or restrictions on artistic mediums to inhibit creativity. Judges will select the winner based on which masterpiece best captures the look and feel of the annual berry tribute.

GUIDELINES

• All original art work for consideration must be 16.5” wide and 17” high, centered and mounted on a black matte board 18.5” wide and 19” high. 
• The finished product must be reproduction compatible and void of any writing, including the date (the year and event logo will be inserted in production).
• Contact name and information should be easily viewed on the back. 
• Prior to the deadline and without exception, entries can be mailed or hand delivered to the Festival office 1661 Pacific Avenue #15, Oxnard, CA 93033.  (805-385-4739).

The winner will be notified Friday, January 10th.

Posters will not be returned and must be picked up from the Festival office any time beginning the fourth week of January. The winning original design and all rights of the winning design will become the property of the California Strawberry Festival.

Prior to the annual Festival celebration,  Studio Gallery at 2741 S. Victoria Avenue #N, Oxnard will feature a display of all the posters throughout the years.
