One of the highlights of a Southern California Holiday Season are the outdoor Ice Skating Rinks that pop up at local restaurant and dining centers. For the past several years, it was the thing to do in Thousand Oaks at The Lakes and this year, The Collection in Oxnard is launching their outdoor rink as well. Both rinks open up for business this week and Macaroni Kid has all the details.

The rink will be real ice and sessions available from 11:00 a.m. to the last session at 8:00 p.m. Sunday -Thursday, and 11:00am to 10:45pm on Friday-Saturday.

- Sunday through Thursday: 11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., 5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.
- Friday through Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., 5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m., 8:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.
Prices:
The admission to skate is $15 for adults and children and $12 for toddlers. Skate rental is included with the admission. A seasonal pass is also available for $129. Helmets (recommended but not required): FREE and Training Walker/Scooter: $5.00.
