The 11th Annual Channel Islands Harbor Safe Boating Expo will take place on Saturday, May 14th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Coast Guard station at 4201 S. Victoria Ave., Oxnard. This event is free to the public and is Channel Islands participation in National Safe Boating Week.
During the 11th Annual Safe Boating Expo at Channel Islands Harbor, public tours will be available at the USCG docks on an 87' U.S. Coast Guard Coastal Cutter and a 45' Response Boat. These boats conduct critical Homeland Security Operations, Search & Rescue, and Fisheries and Maritime Law Enforcement, also tour other First Responders.
