Oxnard Libraries Host Design a Bookmark Contest Thru April 22

For Kids and Teens in K-12th Grade Using The Theme "Libraries Transform"

By Informational Post April 16, 2017

Children in grades K-12 can come to any of the three Oxnard Public Library branches to pick up an entry form for the bookmark contest.

Then they design a bookmark using the theme,  "Libraries Transform." On the form they draw a picture of what they think the library would look like in 100 years inside or out (or both!).

One winner from 3 different age categories will be selected and their designs will become official bookmarks for our library's summer reading program. They will also receive a prize from the library.

The bookmark contest runs until April 22nd. Winners will be announced on April 29th at the Main Library's 110th anniversary celebration.

The three libraries are located at:

  • Main Library: 251 South ‘A’ Street
  • South Oxnard Branch: 4300 Saviers Road
  • Colonia Branch: 1500 Camino del Sol #26
