This week the kids (Elizabeth, age 14, Victoria, age 11 and Katherine, age 8) enjoyed Spring Break and we took a trip down to Long Beach to check out, Disney On Ice “Worlds of Enchantment,” at the Long Beach Arena. Before the show we were invited to a special Meet n' Greet with Woody and Jessie from the show and a craft time where the kids made a rocket with members of the cast. The kids really loved this. One member of the ensemble spent a lot of time taking to the kids and said “look for me during the show.”

Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy Serve as hosts for the show, they appear at the start of the show and several times during the show.
Worlds of Enchantment Highlights Four Disney Movies:
- Toy Story 3: This part of the show was exciting and hilarious. The scene where Ken shows Barbie his various outfits and the she rips up some of them to get the key had us laughing uncontrollably, as did the point when Buzz starts speaking in Spanish. It captured the movie very well. The ending when Andy came on this ice and gave a closing monologue as each of toys appeared in a spotlight was very touching.
- The Little Mermaid: Ariel and Eric skated beautifully performing several amazing lifts and spins. “Under the Sea” was especially fun.
- Cars: The characters from cars drove around the ice as the fixed Mickey’s broken car. Of course, the crowd went wild when Mater and Lightning McQueen appeared.
- Frozen: It was done wonderfully and included pyrotechnics. It also snowed in the arena. The crowed loved singing along to the songs and as usual the highlight of the evening was “Let it go.”

We loved this show and the kids loved seeing their favorite Disney stories come to life on the ice with music, ice skating and gorgeous costumes and choreography. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and would highly recommend it if you love ice skating and Diseny movies. It is a fun show that both kids and adults will highly enjoy.
