Join Macaroni Kid in the Kid Zone for Contests, Crafts at the Ventura Harvest Festival

The 2021 Harvest Festival® Original Art & Craft Show , comes to the Ventura County Fairgrounds this week on Friday through Sunday October 1-3, 2021 with more than 24,000 original creations from hundreds of trend-setting artisans and crafters, plus a Kidszone hosted by Macaroni Kid and My Gym Ventura. 

 We  will be giving free entrances tickets on Instagram this week . 

Make sure and stop by the Kid Zone at the festival as our friends at My Gym Ventura will be joining us in hosting the Kids Zone and provide fun climbing activities for younger kids and we will provide everything you need to  make and take Halloween crafts and make colorful macaroni jewelry with your kids attending the festival.  

DECORATE A PAPER PUMPKIN & WIN HARVEST BUCKS ON FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Join Macaroni Kid this year as we host a Paper Pumpkin Decorating Contest with kids age 12 and under on Friday and Saturday, October 1 and 2 , 2021 

Here are some examples of entries from previous years and winners:

  • On Friday, October 1,  kids participating can win $20 Harvest/Harvey bucks good to use at the festival at 3pm. 
  • On Saturday, October 4, we will have ta drawings for kids participating (including anyone who didn't win on Friday), the winner will win $0  Harvest/Harvey bucks good to use at the festival at 2pm 

Winners will need to claim their prize in person by noon on Sunday, October 3, 2021 or new winners will be selected from entries on both Friday and Saturday, new winners will need to pick up their prize in person before 4pm on Sunday. 

The Harvest Festival is a juried showcase to ensure quality and diversity. Emerging artists whose passions spark new trends provide a limitless array of perfect somethings. 

FEATURING

  • Stunning jewelry, clothing, photography, hand-turned wood, ceramics, eclectic art pieces, seasonal décor, Halloween accessories, ornaments, and blown glass, are among the masterpieces on display. 
  • Artists can also personalize many items. 
  • Festival foodies can sample oodles of tasty homemade sauces, spices, nuts, oils, candies, and baked goods.



HOURS

  • Friday 10am to 5pm
  • Saturday 10am to 5pm
  • Sunday 10am to 4pm

  • Adults tickets are $9
  • Seniors (62+) and military are $7
  • Youths ages 13-17 are $4
  • Kids 12 and under are free.  

The festival collaborates with local non-profits to pay it forward, anyone who brings non-perishables for donation to Project Understanding receives $2 off admission.
