If you haven't heard about The Hunt in Ventura yet, let me be the friend who fills you in — because this is the egg hunt to put on your calendar this spring.

Taking place on March 28th at Plaza Park in Downtown Ventura, The Hunt is a free, family-friendly egg hunt designed for kids ages 0–12. And yes, the egg hunt is free — though registration is required, so don't wait on that. With thousands of eggs, a visit from the Easter Bunny, bounce houses, jumpers, slides, and carnival games, this is a full morning of pure kid joy.

One of the things I love most about this event is how thoughtful the setup is. Instead of a chaotic free-for-all, the egg hunt is broken into age-group time slots so every child actually gets a fair shot at the fun:

  • 11:00 AM — Children with disabilities (all ages)
  • 11:45 AM — Ages 0–3
  • 12:30 PM — Ages 3–5
  • 1:15 PM — Ages 6–8
  • 2:00 PM — Ages 9–12

And then there's the Kid Zone — which, if you have little ones, is worth knowing about ahead of time. It's packed with unlimited rides, jumpers, slides, and bounce houses running from 10AM to 3PM. An Unlimited Ride Pass wristband is $25 in advance (prices go up at the box office), and one wristband is required per child to access the rides. Adults get to go in free alongside their kids, which is a nice touch.

Here's where we come in. We've partnered with The Hunt Ventura to give away two sets of 2 Kid Zone Wristbands — so two lucky families will get their kids into the Kid Zone on us!

To enter, just [click here] before March 23rd, 2026. We'll pick our two winners on March 24th and reach out by email — so keep an eye on your inbox. Good luck, and we'll see you at Plaza Park! 🐣
