Singer-songwriter David Barrette will headline the Channel Islands Harbor’s first-ever on-the-water concert, hosted by Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club (PCYC).
Barrette has created one of the largest “raft-up” concerts at Catalina Island, the Cherry Cove Cockpit Concert, which has attracted up to 250 vessels. Barrette performs favorites from the 50s, 60s, and 70s featuring Neil Diamond, Jimmy Buffett, and the BeeGees. Barrette will also perform an original song, “Catalina Moonlit Night.”
Interested concert-goers can pull up their electric boat, dingy, stand up paddle board, or kayak and watch Barrette play on the south end of the PCYC guest dock, located on the east end of the club. The concert is being held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019. This is a free event open to the public. In an effort to take appropriate safety measures, PCYC is asking on-the-water attendees to pre-register for the event. Please click here to pre-register. Ventura County Harbor Patrol will also set buoys for attendees to enter and stay inside for the duration of the concert.
