Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, the Tony Award-winning ROALD DAHL'S MATILDA THE MUSICAL is a captivating masterpiece that revels in the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination. Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence... and psychokinetic powers! She is unloved by her cruel parents, but impresses her schoolteacher, Miss Honey, who begins to recognize and appreciate Matilda's extraordinary personality over the course of her first term at school. School life isn't smooth sailing for young Matilda, though – the school's headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, despises children and absolutely loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts and could be the school pupils' saving grace! Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda is a joyous power romp for children and adults alike.
