Five07 Turkey Day Dash at Cal Lutheran University
Burn those calories before the big meal and support three community nonprofits at the same time. Expect fun, music, costume contests and lots of local booths and vendors. In addition to a 5K road race around the campus of Cal Lutheran University (top 3 finishers in each category will receive prizes), this year’s event features the inaugural Zack Zernik Mile, named in honor of a lifelong Turkey Day Dash participant who lost his life in early 2024 while hiking in local open space. Come walk for health, family and community!
You can choose to register as an individual or as a Family (3-6 family members in the same household) for either a 5k, the Zach Zernick Mile (run/walk) or both. Ages 3 and under are free (no registration required for 3 and under) and all kids will receive a race ribbon.
Proceeds benefiting 3 local non-profits: Southeast Ventura County YMCA, Conejo Valley Boy Scouts Ventura County, Council of Boy Scouts and the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation.
