Description
Join the Simi Valley Kiwanis Club to celebrate the 4th of July! There will be a free funzone for kids, vendors, food, beer and wine, live entertainment, and fireworks to end the evening!
The Great American Food Drive
We will be collecting non-perishable food items at the event for friends and neighbors in Simi Valley that need a little extra help. Look for the red and blue donation bins in front of the Rec Center and at the Information Booth inside the Jam Area.
The event address is 5005 E. Los Angeles Avenue. Donations can also be dropped off at the same location on Wednesday, July 3 between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and on July 5 between 9:00 AM and Noon.
All Donations will STAY in Simi Valley!

Tips for a FUN Day!
TIPS TO MAKE THIS AN ENJOYABLE DAY
- BBQ's are not allowed in the park including the Park BBQ's.
- The event is free! Come and enjoy the live entertainment and the food and craft vendors.
- Bring blankets, chairs, shade for midday sun, and any water and food needed.
- Supply your family with sunscreen and reapply as needed. July temperatures can be very high and precautions are recommended.
- Shade tents are welcome outside of the Jam Area. It is requested you take down for the fireworks display later in the evening.
- For the safety and consideration of all- please leave your pets at home the day of the event.
- Food and Beverages are available for purchase at the park, but you may bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Alcohol is available for purchase in the Jam area. No outside alcohol is permitted in the park.
- No outside fireworks of any kind are permitted. The Simi Valley Police Department and Ventura County Fire Department will be in attendance. You will be cited or arrested if found in possession of fireworks.
- Lost and Found is located at the Kiwanis Booth in the Jam area.
