Ventura Potters’ Guild Bowl of Thanks and Pottery Market

Dates: Saturday, November 7–Sunday, November 8, 2026
Time: 10 a.m.–5 p.m. each day
Location: Ventura Harbor Village, 1567 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura
Admission: Free to attend; a $25 donation includes a handmade bowl and restaurant tasting card while supplies last

Shop handmade pottery, enjoy live music and support Food Share of Ventura County. Proceeds from the Bowl of Thanks help provide food assistance to local residents.

Ventura Turkey Trot

Date: Thursday, November 26, 2026
Time: 5K at 8 a.m.; Kids 1K at 9:15 a.m.
Location: Ventura Auto Center, Ventura
Registration: Approximately $44 for the 5K and $18 for the Kids 1K; prices may increase

Start Thanksgiving morning with a flat, festive 5K run or walk. Children ages 14 and younger can participate in the Kids 1K. Participants are also encouraged to bring nonperishable food for the event’s food drive.

85th Turkey Night Grand Prix

Dates: Friday, November 27–Saturday, November 28, 2026
Time: Grandstands open at 3 p.m.; cars take the track at 3:30 p.m.
Location: Ventura Raceway at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, 10 W. Harbor Boulevard, Ventura
Admission: Friday grandstand tickets are $22; Saturday general admission is $40

Ventura’s longtime Thanksgiving weekend racing tradition returns with USAC midget and sprint-car racing at the Ventura Raceway dirt track.
