A few weeks ago my husband and I were pricing out drinks because my youngest daughter who is a special needs child will only drink out of a juice box. Mostly she drinks milk but it has gotten very expensive and so I had this brilliant idea that maybe there was a company out there that makes a refillable box.
And there is. I found the company Juice in the Box and I was so excited. The owner of the company told me that they actually had renamed the boxes Drink in The Box and that she would send me a few boxes to check out from the new line of Drink in the Boxes.
When the boxes arrived, all my kids fell in love with them from age 10 to age 4. They only sent us two boxes, and so I went online within 24 hours to buy more boxes. Within a day we had saved money already because the kids preferred using these boxes over the disposable ones we sent them with for snack time and school lunch.
These boxes are terrific. They are BPA free. They seal really well. They wash easily. The kids love drinking out of the straw. They close and open super easy with just a pop of the button. Even when opened and the box fell, it never leaked, not a drop.
If you go to the Drink in the Box website you can even order extra straws and covers in case something happens to yours. They come in some super cute clear, and glossy colors. You can also purchase on the website extra boxes and gel packs to keep the boxes cool. They fit perfectly around the box for a great, snug fit.
Now we make our own chocolate milk and create healthy drinks with fresh fruit and water. We are saving money and giving the kids a much healthier option for drinks and best of all, they are loving it.
