The blueberries are ripe and ready for picking at Underwood Family Farms Somis location and will be available daily for picking from 9:00am - 4:00pm through July.
Somis is the only location that offers Pick Your Own Blueberries! Strawberries are also available and raspberries will be ready in May as well as blackberries in July.
Families looking for berry picking family fun can now come seven-days a week from 9:00am - 4:00pm at the Underwood Farms location in Somis at 5696 Los Angeles Avenue and do some picking. Somis is the only location that offers Pick Your Own Blueberries! Strawberries are also available and raspberries will be ready in May as well as blackberries in July.
- Blueberries - $3.99/lb (end of April-mid-July)
- Strawberries - $1.99/lb (April-August)
- Raspberries - $3.99/lb (May-November)
- Blackberries - $2.99/lb (July-December)
Admission is free and you just pay for whatever you pick. The farm also features a small play area for kids with animals and food so kids can feed them.
I took the kids last season and they had a blast as they picked Blueberries and Strawberries and did really well in a very short time. Visit on a weekend and the farm offers FREE tractor-drawn wagon rides from 9am to 2pm.
Hats & sunscreen are highly recommended! Bring loose change so the kids can visit the animals and feed them.
