OCTOBER IS NATIONAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH

Last week Camarillo got rocked by a tragedy when a local mom was killed by her husband in a murder/suicide. They left behind 4 children from ages 1 1/2 thru age 14. The Camarillo Mom community really banded together and are running lots of fundraisers to help the children.

The President of United States has proclaimed that October 2016 is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. See the proclamation HERE! He calls on all Americans to speak out against domestic violence and support local efforts to assist victims of these crimes in finding the help and healing they need.
