Shipwreck Cove comes to life with strolling musicians, nautical knot tying, Tall Ship Bill of Rights dockside tours, Aarghbor Boat Tours, photos with pirates, an enchanted treasure room for kids, and a whimsical Pet Pirate Costume Contest held on Saturday July 21 at 3:00 PM in which a pirate puppy currently claims the reign. Plus catch the Ventura Harbor Water Taxi from Marina Park, kids ride FREE round-trip (from Marina Park) Pirate Day weekend July 21 - 22 only.

Pirate Days offers free family entertainment, while audiences are captivated by such famous pirate re-enactors as Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Hook and their crews of scallywags walking along the Harbor's promenade.
The Port Royal Privateers historical encampment joins the event this year offering a closer look at the pirates relaxing on shore after successful adventures. Pirate's Cove Marketplace abounds with precious wares and Pirates for Hire crew engages the crowds with daily pirate kid and adult costume contests for a coveted Disneyland ticket.
Festival goers seek out treasures to take home as Village shops feature pirate merchandise, pirate hats, swords, gifts, eye patches, flags, & gear. Purchases of $20 or more at participating Ventura Harbor Village boutique stores enters buyers for a chance to win $100 in gold dollar coins. Village galleries bustle with free activities for wee ones and for grog and grub, the Village restaurants offer a variety of cuisine and live entertainment.
The festivities continue on the water with the Bill of Rights Tall Ship Sail from 4 - 7 PM out of Ventura Harbor and a Pirate Dinner Cruise along with live music by Ship of Fools and dinner with Island Packers at 7 PM around the Ventura Harbor.
