SANTA BARBARA FILM FESTIVAL FOR KIDS

AppleBox Family Film Festival FREE Movies On Weekends

By Sharon Rosenthal, www.camarillo.macaronikid.com January 20, 2013
For the sixth year, the Children's Museum is joining forces with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival to present the AppleBox Family Film Festival -- two weekends of films, friends, and fun.

Admission to all films is FREE, thanks to the generosity of these sponsors: Citrix Online, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Metropolitan Theatres, RealD, and KMPR Univision.

FREE popcorn and soft drinks will be provided for all screenings.

AppleBox was launched in 2007 by the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Although the first year's attendance was modest, just a couple hundred people, SBIFF Executive Director Roger Durling and the SBIFF Board of Directors knew it would grow. SBIFF joined forces with the Children's Museum in 2008 and attendance grew tenfold.  Since then, attendance at AppleBox  has been growing steadily.

APPLEBOX 2013 SCHEDULE:
All screenings at the Arlington Theater at 1317 State Street.

Admission is on a first-come, first-serve basis and starts at 10am.
