The Joyce La Mers Poetry Contest presented by the Ventura County Writers Club (VCWC) are hosting a Poetry Contest with three different age groups for poets from all over the country.
The annual Poetry Contest opened on January 1, 2014. Online forms will close on February 15 at 8:00 pm PST! Entries sent through US Mail must be postmarked for February 15.
The categories are as follows:
Category 2. Youth– Two Divisions
Division B - Ages 12 and under
Winners will be announced and published in The Write Stuff newsletter, in the club’s anthology, and

will be featured speakers at the VCWC general meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
All poets may submit their work via the US postal service and pay by check or money order
or use the clubs online submissions manager and online payment system.
