Summer is almost here, and Bricks 4 Kidz is bringing the FUN and EDUCATION with our popular Summer Camps at St. Mary Magdalen School in Camarillo.
We have an awesome lineup of Camps this Summer, Mining and Crafting 1 & 2, Super Hero Academy, Jr. Robotics, and Stop Motion Animation.

MINING AND CRAFTING 1, Age 6-12
Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens. Experience the world of Minecraft with LEGO® Bricks in this fun after school enrichment engineering class! Kids will start by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using LEGO® Bricks. Students will face new challenges each day, building models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft game. Campers take home custom mini figure and t-shirt!

Steve is jumping for joy as he introduces the newest members of his Minecraft® world. Whether your child has attended our first session or not, reward them with the creativity and excitement this new camp has to offer! Campers will be challenged to bring their virtual designs to life by building new mob figures, mosaics and custom models, incorporating LEGO® Bricks. So, are you ready for the challenge? SUPER HERO ACADEMY, Age 6-12
Join Bricks 4 Kidz for a week building Super Heroes with LEGO® bricks.Explore all the caped crusaders and discover their super powers.Create a fantasy world and protect it against all the evil arch enemies with custom contraptions made with LEGO® bricks. JR. ROBOTICS, Age 6-12
How would you like to turn your next LEGO creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do? The Bricks 4 Kidz new Junior Robotics camp offers all the fun of building with LEGO bricks, PLUS the challenge of computer programming! Using drag-and-drop icon-based software, WeDo software provides an introduction into the world of computer-programming and robotics that will equip children to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. STOP MOTION ANIMATION, Age 7-12

A Bricks 4 Kidz® camp is a fresh and fun way for kids to spend their school break! With specially-designed Bricks 4 Kidz® models, LEGO® games galore, and plenty of time for free-play, the kids are always having fun. Camps are specially designed for kids ages 5-14 and are staffed by trained, screened Bricks 4 Kidz® teachers.

Kids have loads of fun (and learn a bunch!) as they use LEGO® bricks to explore the world of engineering, architecture, robotics and animation movie-making in an open, friendly and team-based environment. Bricks 4 Kidz® camps keep the pace fast and varied with guided projects and challenges as well as time for free-play, so the kids are always having fun. Camp activities are specially designed for kids ages 5-14, built around themes kids love, like Amusement Parks, Space, Robotics and more. Screened, trained Bricks 4 Kidz® staff provide friendly, qualified supervision for your children, so you can rest assured they are safe and happy.
Activities
Children work in pairs to build projects using Bricks 4 Kidz® model plans. They also get to make creations of their own during our free play periods. We keep the action going with unique games and challenges using LEGO® Bricks. The children will work and play with specialized LEGO® Technic pieces such as gears, axles, and beams as well as electric motors, sensors, remote controls and more!
