Red Ribbon Week is sponsored by the National Family Partnership® (NFP) every year nationally with events and activities in every elementary, middle and high school in the United States to educate kids and teens and their families about saying no to drugs. The 2014 Red Ribbon week theme is "Love Yourself. Be Drug Free®."
Every year NFP hosts fun national contests around the annual Red Ribbon Week®, Oct. 23-31 and ask everyone to take the Pledge and offer some fun contests for students to participate in.

Take the Red Ribbon Pledge now and be a part of the creation of a drug free America.
- As parents and citizens, we will talk to our children and the children in our lives about the dangers of drug abuse.
- We will set clear rules for our children about not using drugs.
- We will set a good example for our children by not using illegal drugs or medicine without a prescription.
- We will monitor our children's behavior and enforce appropriate consequences, so that our rules are respected.
- We will encourage family and friends to follow the same guidelines to keep children safe from substance abuse.
HOW TO ENTER THE PHOTO CONTEST
- Students bring the Red Ribbon Week® message home by working alongside parents to decorate their front door, mailbox, fence, etc. with this year's theme "Love Yourself. Be Drug Free®."
- Take a photo with the family and your Red Ribbon Week® decoration, then upload to http://redribbon.org (must be 18+ to upload your photos).
- Family members and friends vote for their favorite photos November 5th to 19th

2015 RED RIBBON THEME CONTEST
Have a great idea for a theme for next year? Send your ideas for the 2015 Red Ribbon Theme Contest today for a chance to win $500 in Red Ribbon Theme Merchandise in 2015 for your local school.
Entries must be received by December 1, 2014 at 11:59pm (EST), via email to redribbon@nfp.org or via mail to National Family Partnership, 2490 Coral Way, Miami, FL 33145.

Note: NFP reserves the right to select the theme or design from one submission and match it with another submitted theme or design. In that case, there will be two contest winners.
Entries should include a Red Ribbon in the design. The actual ribbon should be a double looped ribbon or bow, as opposed to a single loop. (please refer to Red Ribbon logo on HERE)
