K-EARTH 101 and the Los Angeles Zoo invite you to enter their Earth Day Poster Art Contest! One poster will be selected as the official poster for Earth Day Expo 2011! In addition to being our Official Poster for the Earth Day Expo, the Grand Prize winner will also receive 10 tickets and a V.I.P. tour of the Los Angeles Zoo!
HOW TO ENTER
- Create a poster illustrating the 2011 “Earth Day” theme – “Billion Acts of Green.” You can help inform people of what they can do in their communities to help celebrate the earth. The artwork can include any image that keeps within the Earth Day theme. Other animal suggestions to add to your artwork Island Fox, California Condor, California Brown Pelican, Harbor Seal, California Desert Tortoise & Bighorn Sheep.
- Your poster must be in color and original artwork. No photographs or photocopies.
- It should include the “K-EARTH 101″ & “Los Angeles Zoo” logos.
- It should include “Earth Day Expo 2011 April 9th & April 10th, 2011, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.”
- All artwork entries must be received by Tuesday Febuary 22nd, 2011 to the K-EARTH 101 Studios at:K-EARTH 101, Attn: Promotions, 5670 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90036
- The contest is open to all students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade.
- The size of the paper should be 8 ½ x 11 Vertical.
- On the back of the artwork submission please include parent or legal guardian contact information.
