CSUCI 6TH ANNUAL SCIENCE CARNIVAL IN OXNARD

For Kids in Kindergarten to 8th Grade in Ventura County

October 26, 2014
CSU Channel Islands (CI) invites children and their families to launch air-powered rockets, catapult marshmallows, create glow-in-the-dark slime, dig for artifacts, and experience the thrill of hands-on science at the Sixth Annual Science Carnival on Saturday night, November 1 in Oxnard.

The fun, free event is open to all kindergarten through eighth-grade students, and will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School, 2900 Thurgood Marshall Dr., in Oxnard.

Editor's Note: Go EARLY as there are tons of activities for kids to explore. We go every year and they have to kick us out they have so many things for kids to do and its only 3 hours long. In addition parking is a challenge so be prepared to park and walk to the school. Also don't bring very young children as kids will use some chemicals that you might not want younger children to touch.

A MAP OF THIS YEARS ACTIVITIES
This year’s Science Carnival will feature more than 70 hands-on science activities and demonstrations conducted by CI faculty, students and community volunteers.
