The 59th annual Conejo Valley Days (CVD) is coming up on May 7 through 10 at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Rd./23 Freeway) in Thousand Oaks and Macaroni Kid has tickets to giveaway.

We will be giving away 4 packs of entry passes on Wednesday and Sunday at 12AM on April 22, 26, 29 and May 3. This contest is only open to Macaroni Kid subscribers who receive emailed e-newsletters. You must be a subscriber by the start of this contest on Sunday, April 19th to qualify for this contest.
Conejo Valley Days takes place this year on May 7 through 10 at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Rd., exit off the 23 Freeway). The four-day festival will include hands on family fun from the Conejo Valley Gem and Mineral Club as well as the running of the 3rd annual Outhouse Races and a slot car derby.

Conejo Valley Days for the very time is offering kids the opportunity to read and earn ride tickets. The new “Read & Ride” literacy program from Conejo Valley Days and partner RCS Carnival encourages kids in kindergarten through fifth grade to read by offering free carnival ride passes for the upcoming festival.

Conejo Valley Days for the very time is offering kids the opportunity to read and earn ride tickets. The new “Read & Ride” literacy program from Conejo Valley Days and partner RCS Carnival encourages kids in kindergarten through fifth grade to read by offering free carnival ride passes for the upcoming festival.
Children must read three books approved by their teacher and their parent, write a brief summary of each book on a Read & Ride form, have his or her parent and teacher sign the completed form and bring it to the RCS information booth inside the CVD site to receive a pass good for three free rides. Kindergarten-age kids can draw pictures about their books on the back of the form.
The program is open to all students in public and private schools and to homeschoolers (homeschoolers must have a librarian sign the form).
