Summer starts early at Discovery Cube Los Angeles (DCLA) with the opening of two traveling exhibits, Adventures with Clifford The Big Red Dog and Animal Grossology, now thru September 7.
Get ready for a “paws-on” adventure with Emily Elizabeth and the residents of Birdwell Island in Adventures with Clifford The Big Red Dog.
Early learners will enjoy exploring and playing in popular places like Emily’s Backyard Theater, Clifford’s Doghouse, T-Bone Beach, and more!
Hands-on activities include making music in the Musical Marina, hunting treasures at T-Bone’s Beach, and going on a reading adventure at the Birdwell Island Library where kids can read their favorite Clifford book.

The fun continues in Animal Grossology with a unique look at the animal kingdom and some of nature’s grossest topics. This interactive exhibit puts a unique spin on blood suckers, slime makers, and vomit munchers to uncover why animals do the yucky things they do.
This hands-on exhibit offers a refreshing look at blood, pellets, vomit, and digestion as well as some of Earth’s slimiest and stinkiest inhabitants. Learn why cows chew cud, how a snail’s slime may help doctors treat cystic fibrosis, or why the dung beetle is considered nature’s original pooper scooper. Guests of all ages will enjoy this interactive exhibit with fun learning games, interactive activities, and animatronics to explore the science of animals.
