DAY CAMP
The Little Blue Creche Day Camp is a nature-based summer program in Ventura by the Sea, combining play, exploration, and outdoor skill-building.
Tromp through woods, wade in creeks, explore dunes, hike botanical gardens, investigate marine life, paint alongside the sea, study rare plants and birds, and adventure along the California coastline. We are a 9 am to 5 pm program based at various State parks and nature preserves along the coast. Pick-up and drop-off instructions will be given for each week of camp. Our explorers' program is for ages 4-7 and our adventurers' program is for ages 8-11. We offer a full-day and half-day program.
Each week features a new camp theme, such as exploring creeks and wildlife in Foster Parkโs Creeks & Critters Camp, discovering the coastal marshes and bird migrations in Marshes & Migrators Camp, or learning about coastal plants in Seaside Gardens Camp. Kids will hike, bike, and engage in nature activities, including survival skills and wildlife tracking. Other camps, like Island of the Blue Camp at Channel Islands National Park, offer experiences like indigenous craft-making and marine science exploration.
